Sony outs the WX150, W690 and the slim TX66 and TX20 Cyber-shots to round out the style and convenience categories in the 2012 point-and-shoot class.

Sony heralds the WX150 and W690 as the thinnest 10x ultrazooms to date, thanks to a new lens design. The WX150 is part of the EXMOR R class, getting an advanced 18.2 megapixel CMOS sensor. With it comes full 1080 HD video and 9 "Picture Effect" in-camera filters. Users will be able to shoot 13 megapixel stills while simultaneously recording video. It has a 3.0-inch 460k-dot LCD, while the W690 sports a lower-res 230k-dot touch screen of the same size. The W690 has a 16.1 megapixel CCD sensor and will record 720p HD video.

The folded optic T- series gets an update in the rugged TX20 and the sleek TX66. Waterproof to 16 feet, dustproof, shockproof to 5 feet and freezeproof to 14 degrees Fahrenheit, the TX20 is ready to take a beating. It features a 4x optical zoom lens, 16.2 megapixel EXMOR R CMOS sensor and Optical SteadyShot with newly enhanced Active Mode for video.

The TX66 is less likely to survive a trip to the bottom of the pool, but it's Sony stylish offering with a 3.3-inch OLED touch screen, 5x optical zoom lens and latest-generation 18.2 megapixel EXMOR sensor. It's just 12.2mm thick and offers full 1080 HD video.
