These new VIXIA camcorders are Canon's compact alternative, claimed to be 15% smaller than previous M series models. They all offer 1080 HD video, a 10x optical zoom lens and HD CMOS Pro image sensors. Each is equipped with a 3.0-inch touch LCD and ability to record MP4 files for easier uploading and sharing. The 32GB M52 and 8GB M50 are WiFi and DLNA connected. The M500 offers no internal memory space, recording to an SDXC-compatible card slot instead.
