Olympus Launches SZ-10, VR-320 and VG-110 Point-and-Shoots

Olympus unveils three new cameras today, the ultrazoom SZ-10 and the compact VR-320 and VG-110. The SZ-10 offers an 18x zoom lens and Olympus's new 3D capture technology.

The SZ-10 will offer a zoom lens covering an equivalent range of 28-840mm. It will feature a 14 megapixel sensor, 720p HD video recording and dual image stabilization. It uses a TruePic III+ processor and offers AF tracking of subjects within a frame.

Olympus offers its Magic Filter in-camera processing modes in the SZ-10 with the addition of three new modes - punk, sparkle and watercolor. The SZ-10 will accept SD, SDHC and SDXC memory card media.

The SZ-10 offers a new 3D mode introduced at CES. This mode will capture two images and combine them in-camera into a 3D format viewable on compatible 3D HDTVs.

Olympus VR-320
The VR-320 is a compact ultrazoom offering a 12.5x optical zoom starting at a wide 24mm and 720p HD video recording. It will also use a 14 megapixel sensor and dual image stabilization, combining sensor-shift with digital stabilization functions.

The camera body features an all-metal construction and a slightly updated form factor. There's a 3.0-inch LCD on the back panel, and the camera is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Olympus VG-110
The budget-friendly VG-110 offers a 12 megapixel sensor, a 4x optical zoom lens and a 2.7-inch LCD for just around $100. It also offers AF tracking, in-camera Magic Filters, standard definition video recording and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Pricing and availability
The Olympus SZ-10 will cost $249.99, the VR-320 will cost $199.99 and the VG-110 will cost just $99.99. All cameras will be available in March.
