The Lumix FH5 and FH2 build on the models of their predecessors with 28mm wide angle Leica DC lenses and 720p HD video recording capability.

The ultra-compact, 16.1 megapixel FH5 offers a 4x optical zoom lens, which Panasonic claims can be extended to 5x by using Intelligent Zoom technology to preserve photo quality. The FH5 and FH2 are equipped with iA Intelligent Auto mode and optical image stabilization. This rendition of iA will include two new features - subject tracking and an Intelligent Exposure technology which will attempt to correct for blown highlights and blocked shadows.
