Samsung introduces Wi-Fi enabled ST80

Samsung launches their latest Wi-Fi connected point-and-shoot today, the ST80. It features DLNA connectivity, a 3.0-inch touch screen, and access to Boingo Wi-Fi hotspots to help get your photos on the web faster.

The ST80 has a 14.2 megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom lens, and 720p HD video recording capability. A new Smart Crop feature will allow users to straighten in-camera photos taken at an angle or a slant. Standard to Samsung's lineup of point-and-shoots is the Smart Auto mode that can be used in the ST80's video or still image recording modes.

The Wi-Fi-ready ST80 will allow users to store e-mail addresses in the camera's address book. Images can be sent via e-mail or directly uploaded to sites including Facebook, Picasa, YouTube, and Photo Bucket.

Look for the ST80 to hit store shelves in September at an MSRP of $249.99.
