Adobe Systems, Incorporated has released an update to its Photoshop Lightroom 3 beta software, which is available without charge to anyone on a Macintosh or Windows platform.
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom software is a digital darkroom which allows you to manage your photo collection in a visual library, use editing tools to get the best from every shot, whether RAW, JPEG or TIFF, and showcase your images using customizable print layouts, slideshows, web gallery creation tools, and connection to online photo sharing sites.
The initial Lightroom 3 beta was downloaded by more than 350,000 photographers. Lightroom 3 beta 2 incorporates feedback from users and offers several new features and improved performance. This includes tethered shooting support for select Nikon and Canon cameras, the ability to import and manage video files from DSLR cameras, architecture enhancements for faster importing and loading of images, the addition of luminance noise reduction, and improvements to importing and watermarking functionality.
