Panasonic has announced the pricing for three new series of Lumix digital cameras, the FH, FP, and F series, all which will be available in mid-February.

The FH series includes the FH1, FH3, and FH20. These are slim, pocket-size models with a 28mm wide-angle lens, HD video recording capability and Panasonic's iA (intelligent auto) mode. Suggested retail prices will be $159.95 for the FH1, $179.95 for the FH3 and $199.95 for the FH20.

The FP series includes the FP1 and FP3. They are stylish, sleek cameras with a folded optics design, a 4x optical zoom, a 3.0 inch touch-screen LCD and HD video recording capability. Suggested retail prices will be $149.95 for the FP1 and $229.95 for the FP3.

The F series, which includes the F2 and F3, are designed with simplicity, style and performance in mind. Both models record HD video and are equipped with 28mm wide-angle lenses and an extra optical zoom function to extend zoom power from 4x to 7.8x. Both models also feature intelligent ISO control, which prevents blurring of a moving subject; face detection, which helps to clearly capture registered faces; and intelligent scene selector, which automatically selects one of six scene modes that best fits the shooting situation. Suggested retail prices will be $109.95 for the F2 and $129.95 for the F3.
