Canon has released a firmware update, version 1.0.7, for its advanced amateur/semi-professional DSLR, the EOS 50D. The firmware update addresses the following issues:

• Corrects a phenomenon where captured images may tend to appear somewhat magenta depending on the shooting scene; and
• Fixes incorrect indications on the Arabic, Romanian, Spanish, and Ukrainian menu screens.
