When we took a look at Nikon's new D90 mid-level DSLR a few months back, we were impressed. Clearly we weren't the only ones.
The editors of Time magazine recently compiled a list of top gadgets of 2008, and the 12.3 megapixel D90 took home the fourth spot. In particular, the magazine praised the camera's superb image quality and innovative HD video capture – a feature unique to exactly two DSLRs at the time of this writing.
Wireless SD card manufacturer Eye-Fi also earned high praise from Time.
Their innovative Eye-Fi Explore file transfer system, which uses a tiny Wi-Fi radio built into an SD memory card to upload images directly from a camera, was among five contenders vying for the title of "Gadget of the Year."
