Two unique photo-related sites earned spots on's list of Top 50 Best Websites 2008.

The free web-based photo editing tool earned a position among the magazine's picks for its integrated approach to editing photos within your web browser and then, if you desire, sending them on to the photo sharing or social networking site of your choice.

Several photo editing sites provide similar functions to those provided by Picnik, but according to Time, "only Picnik presents them with such elegant simplicity." is a showcase of graphics and images from across the web that have been submitted to the site by its users (sorry, joining up to submit your own is by invitation only).

As the Time write-up notes, unlike what seems to be on the majority of photo sharing sites, the stuff found on ffffound tends to be consistently engaging for visual people, running the gamut from ad campaign graphics to personal snapshots to fine art.
