Today, Pentax is rolling out the 12 megapixel Optio A40 and ultra-slim Optio V10. The A40 is their most advanced compact point & shoot and features mechanical image stabilization, face detection and a 2.5 inch LCD. The V10 is an 8 megapixel camera with a 3 inch LCD and 3x optical zoom. The Pentax Optio A40 will be available in October 2007 for $300 and the Pentax Optio V10 will be available in November 2007 for $250.
