Western Digital is hosting a live discussion with documentary photographer Colin Finlay on Thursday, February 4th. He’s one of their Creative Masters and has photographed scenes of conflict, genocide, and famine in his 17 year career. Finlay is preparing to leave for Haiti in mid-February as part of a humanitarian effort. It will be his sixth trip to the country, recently devestated by a tremendous earthquake. He captured the image below on a previous trip to the country, when he visited a town affected by a mumps epidemic.
The discussion will take place through Western Digital’s LinkedIn Group. He’ll talk about his career as a photographer and participants will be able to ask him questions. The discussion begins at 10 am PT and ends at noon.
