Three new Epson Stylus NX all-in-ones launched

Epson has launched a trio of new sub-$100 all-in-one inkjets “designed to satisfy the printing, scanning, copying, and faxing needs of any busy household.”

The Epson Stylus NX100, NX200, and NX300 firm up Epson’s NX series and the current NX400 with three new models design to offer high-quality printing, scanning, and copying for home office users or amateur photo enthusiasts.

Built for general household and photo printing, the NX100 and NX200 print black text documents at speeds of 26 ppm and 32 ppm, respectively.

On the photo side, both models provide built-in red-eye reduction and photo restoration and correction tools for retouching scans and off-camera images. All three NX models also support borderless photo printing at most popular print sizes up to 8.5×11.

Targeted to home office users, the Stylus NX300 offers all of the performance of the NX100 and NX200 models with the addition of high-speed faxing capabilities and a fax/copy automatic document feeder. Additionally, the NX300 includes ABBYY FineReader optical character recognition software, allow you to “quickly convert printed documents in editable text,” according to Epson.

All three models utilize Epson’s affordable DURABrite Ultra ink, which claims to provide smudge-resistant, laser-quality text and vibrant photo-resolution prints.

The Stylus NX300 is already available from retailers, with street prices coming in around $90. The NX100 and NX200 will be available next month, for an estimated $69.99 and $79.99, respectively.
