Samsung announces the availability of the CES-announced WB150F and DV300F compact cameras. Both are WiFi enabled, and the DV300F is part of Samsung’s elite DualView club with not one, but two LCD monitors.
Remember that the Samsung WB150F contains a mighty 18x optical zoom lens paired with a 14.2 megapixel sensor. The DualView DV300F boasts a front-facing 1.5-inch touchscreen as well as a 3.0-inch display on the back panel. That front display comes in handy for framing self-portraits and holding the attention of an antsy child during a photo session.
Samsung’s crop of 2012 point-and-shoots put Wi-Fi connectivity front and center, a trend we expect to see continuing as more cameras are announced throughout the year. Samsung’s Wi-Fi imaging offerings are also capable of peer-to-peer connectivity with Samsung Galaxy devices for wirless transfer of files without a hotspot.
Pricing and Availability
Both cameras are available now: the Samsung WB150F coming in at $229.99 and the DV300F priced at $199.99.
