Nikon adds two new zoom lenses to its Nikkor portfolio today, the AF-S DX 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR and AF-S 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR. The 18-300mm is designed as an all-in-one, get the job done kind of lens for the DX photographer and it’s Nikon’s longest focal range in a Nikkor lens to date. FX photographers might pick up the 24-85mm to add another standard zoom to their arsenals. Both lenses are equipped with VR II Vibration Reduction technology and SWM Silent Wave Motor systems for quiet auto focus operation.
