Kodak EasyShare C663, C530 and EasyShare Z650 Digital Cameras Announced

Continuing the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) blitz, Kodak has announced the EasyShare C663, the EasyShare Z650 and the EasyShare C530.  The C663 is the first camera to incorporate Kodak’s “Perfect Touch” feature that allows images to be edited to bring out the details in underexposed areas of the image.  The primary place where this will come in handy is when the image subject is just out of flash range and underexposed.

The EasyShare Z650 is the latest model of the Z line.  The highlight of the camera is the 10x optical zoom.

Kodak EasyShare C663

The C663 features a 6.1 megapixel sensor and a huge 2.5 inch LCD.  Kodak has included it’s “Perfect Touch” technology that allows easy exposure correction for images taken in difficult lighting.  Seventeen scene modes and five colors modes provide lots of options for beginning users

The C663 will be available in March for $299.  Also, a C530 model (5 megapixel) will be available in February.for $139.

Kodak EasyShare Z650

The Z650 is the latest in the Z line of “high zoom” digital cameras from Kodak.  The 6.1 megapixel camera features a 10x optical zoom, and a 2 inch LCD.  An SD slot is available for image and movie storage.  The camera also features a live histogram and automatic, aperture priority and shutter priority modes, plus 17 scene modes and 5 colour modes.

The Z650 will be available in February for $349.
