We reported on improvements to Imagenomic’s popular Portraiture plug-in on display at PhotoPlus a few months back. The new version of the software, which had progressed to the public beta phase at that writing, was officially launched today.
Designed as a workflow tool for wedding and commercial photographers, Portraiture 2 offers a range of highly automated controls for smoothing skin and covering blemishes in portraits.
Building on the basic framework set forth in the original version, key updates for version two include a new user interface with real-time preview, improved masking and adjustment controls, and support for the latest versions (both 32- and 64-bit) of Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.
Portraiture 2 is a free upgrade for current Portraiture users, and new users can purchase the software directly from Imagenomic’s website. Current pricing for original Portraiture is $169.95, with pricing for the new version of $199.95 taking effect after the first of the year.
