Today Fuji announces the new FUJIFILM X-A1 (CSC). The X-A1 is the fourth ILC for Fuji. The X-A1 offers users a large 16.3-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and EXR Processor II. The camera features an ISO range from ISO 200 up to ISO 25600.

Although it does have two discernible differences, the overwhelming majority of features in the X-A1 are extremely similar to the X-M1. The X-A1 features the same 3″ tilting LCD screen with 920K dots as the X-M1. The X-A1 also has a built-in flash like the X-M1. It has the same creative filters and records Full HD movie in 1080P\30fps. Click here to read our news release of the X-M1.

So, what’s new with the X-A1? What’s the other difference? The X-A1 is going to sell for $100 less than the X-M1.

The FUJIFILM X-A1 kit will ship with the FUJINON XC16-50mm (24-76mm) F3.5-5.6 OIS zoom lens. The lens consists of 12 all glass elements in 10 groups including 3 aspherical elements and 1 ED element. The lens features seven round-edged aperture blades, which offer 17 stops in 1/3 EV increments.

Fuji is also announcing a new lens for the X-Series ILCs. The new FUJINON XC50-230mm F4.5-6.7 OIS lens has an extremely long zoom range that has a 35mm equivalent of 76mm-350mm . The XC50-230mm has optical image stabilization built into the lens for better results when hand holding shots.

The FUJIFILM X-A1 and XC16-50mm (24-76mm) F3.5-5.6 OIS lens (kit) will be available in September 2013 for $599.95 in black and indigo blue.
