Samsung announces five new NX mount lenses as PMA 2010 gears up in California. The new lenses are designed for the small form-factor NX10, a camera that aims to combine DSLR image quality with a mirrorless camera body – much like Panasonic and Olympus’ joint Micro Four Thirds effort.
Joining the three existing NX lenses are the following:
- A compact 20-50mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom lens
- A wide 20mm f/2.8 pancake lens
- The telephoto 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom lens (similar to a previously announced lens but without OIS)
- A 60mm f/2.7 macro lens
- An 18-200mm OIS f/3.5-6.3 super telephoto zoom lens
Lenses announced by Samsung earlier this year at CES included a 30mm f/2.0 pancake, an 18-5mm f/3.5-5.6 with OIS, and a 50-200mm f/4.5-5.6 OIS zoom. No word yet on pricing; Samsung states that the lenses will be released throughout 2010.
