Being released in June 2013, the Camnexus is a wireless transfer device that attaches to the hotshoe of a Canon or Nikon DSLR. The Camnexus allows photographers to wireless transfer images from their camera to their Andriod tablet or Apple iPad or Mac laptop. The device works one of two ways: it either uses an already present Wi-Fi connection or it creates its own hotspot. Images, transferred at 1mb/sec, arrive quickly on tablets or Mac laptops. The device has a 100 foot range and makes on-the-spot viewing and editing simple. Images can also be downloaded directly to a Dropbox account or into a folder for Lightroom.

When transferring to a Mac Laptop the device will transfer both JPEG and RAW images. When transferring to a tablet, the Camnexus will transfer only JPEGS.

Camnexus will start shipping in June for $299.
