Adobe updates its touch-based applications – Adobe Eazel, Color Lava and Nav – enabling features such as image galleries and image capture. This update to versions 1.0.2 includes the following changes:

  • Adobe Eazel: Users can now access their paintings with an Eazel image gallery, making it possible to open and save works wiithin the app itself.
  • Adobe Color Lava: Image capture via the built-in iPad 2 camera is now enabled. Colors from the captured photos can be selected and manipulated within the app.
  • Adobe Nav: Image transfer directly from the touch device to Photoshop CS5 is now possible.

These touch applications each offer different tools. The programs interact with Photoshop CS5, offering unique ways to integrate touch functionality with all of the creative options of CS5. They’re offered at the iTunes store – Adobe Eazel for $2.99 (at a special discount price now), Adobe Color Lava for $2.99 and Adobe Nav for $1.99. Read more about these apps at Adobe’s website.
