Pentax K-x Hands On

Tonight, Pentax showed off the newest member of their digital camera lineup, the Pentax K-x. A sort of hybrid of their K2000/K-m and K-7 models, the small but sturdy camera brings HD video-capable SLRs to a lower price than ever before. We even got to spend a couple of minutes with one; read on for our impressions.

The Pentax K2000 gave Pentax fans an answer to their call for a lighter, less bulky DSLR. Today, they've unveiled the Pentax K-x, another lightweight entry-level unit designed to lure customers away from their point and shoots. The bait? A 12.4 megapixel CMOS sensor, a 2.7 inch LCD with live view, and 720p HD video recording.

Pentax Optio E70 Review
