PMA 2010: California, here we come

DigitalCameraReview is on the move again, and for a change we're not headed to Vegas. This year, PMA relocates to Anaheim, California from a long run in Sin City. Olympus E-P2 First Look

Olympus E-PL1 Hands-On Preview

Promotional materials on Olympus's site last week featured the image of a mystery PEN camera obscured by a hand. Today, they move that hand away and reveal the third Micro Four Thirds system in their digital PEN series, the E-PL1. They've offered DCR a first-look, pre-production unit and we've had our hands all over it ever since it arrived.

Olympus E-PL1 debuts, offers Micro Four Thirds Lite

After teasing the release of a new digital PEN camera last week, Olympus has officially taken the wraps off the E-PL1. It's their third Micro Four Thirds model, a step-down alternative to the E-P1 and E-P2. It compromises some of the features and build quality of the previous models to bring the price down, and it adds a built-in flash to the lineup for the first time.

Olympus debuts SP-800UZ and SP-600UZ ultrazooms

The SP series of ultrazooms from Olympus gets two new additions today - the SP-800UZ and SP-600UZ. The SP-800UZ will feature a whopping 30x optical zoom lens, and the SP-600UZ will offer "merely" a 15x optical zoom lens. Both feature a DSLR-grade TruePic III image processor and a full slate of beginner-friendly features.

Olympus launches Stylus Tough-8010, Stylus Tough-6020

Olympus adds two more rugged cameras today to their Tough series. The Stylus Tough-8010 and Stylus Tough-6020 are shockproof, waterproof, crushproof, and freezeproof, making them ready for waves and ski slopes alike. They have a softer side, too.
