Nikon just built a P&S camera that lets you have it your way. You might want to put down that burger and drive to your nearest camera store to check out the Coolpix P5000. The new Coolpix S10 is the latest version of Nikon’s iconic swivel-zoom camera design. The S10 is a metal bodied 6 megapixel digital camera with a 10X (38mm -380mm in 35mm equivalence) stabilized zoom, a hi-res (230,000 pixel) 2.5 inch LCD screen, 15 Scene Modes, Face Priority AF, a top sensitivity of ISO 800, and In-Camera red-eye fix.
As part of the eight cameras that Nikon is announcing today, there are four new digital cameras for the Style or S-line. The Coolpix S50 and Coolpix S50c both feature 7.2 megapixel resolution, 3x optical zoom Nikkor lenses and 3 inch LCDs. The Coolpix S200 and Coolpix S500 feature new styling with the S200 sporting an aluminum body and the S500 gets a stainless steel body.

It features 6 megapixel resolution, a 2.5 inch LCD, a 3x optical zoom, and can take 1000 shots on lithium AA batteries. Nikon has announced three new cameras in their "Style" line of digital cameras. The Nikon Coolpix S9 resembles the S5 and S6 models introduced earlier this year with the slim wave design. The Nikon Coolpix S10 has the same swivel body as the S4 model from last year - they have to make room for the lens somehow. The Nikon Coolpix S7c has the slim wave design, but features WiFi, a 3 inch screen, and it's not silver.
Nikon has announced two new cameras in their Coolpix "Life" or L lineup of digital cameras. The Nikon Coopix L5 features 7.2 megapixels, 5x optical zoom, 2.5 inch LCD and Nikon's Vibration Reduction system. It will be available in September for $299. The Nikon Coolpix L6 features 6 megapixels, 3x optical zoom, 2.5 inch LCD, and 1000 shots on the included Energizer lithium AA batteries. The L6 will available in September for $199.
After all the teasers and "leaks", it seems like everyone knows all the details about the new Nikon D80, but now that it's officially announced, you can get the full, confirmed specs for Nikon's new mid-range digital SLR. The 10.2 megapixel Nikon D80 is meant to replace the D70s in that price bracket above the D50.
