What's more fun than going to the circus? Photographing the circus with the brand new Nikon D3S. Nikon invited a group of journalists to a shoot a dress rehearsal of The Big Apple Circus in NYC a couple of days before the PhotoPlus Expo opens, giving us a chance to put the expanded ISO range and HD video to the test.

Nikon D3S announced with HD video, new FX sensor

Today Nikon unveils the D3S, their latest pro-grade DSLR. It joins the flagship D3 and D3X with an FX-sized CMOS sensor, but stands alone as the only full frame Nikon DSLR to shoot HD video. Also on the list of new features is an expanded ISO range reaching an equivalent of ISO 102,400, a feat that Nikon claims will put the D3S ahead of even the human eye in low light sensitivity.
