One of the most unique looking cameras to be seen in a while, the Kodak EasyShare V570 sports two lenses that don't protrude at all from the camera. With one lens to provide an ultra-wide angle (22 mm focal length - 35 mm equivalent) and another to provide an optical zoom from 39-117 mm - 35mm equivalent) the V570 provides a total of a 5x optical zoom. The V570 will be available at the end of January for an MSRP of $399.
Minox has announced a compact camera, the DC 6211. The 6.2 megapixel ultra-compact has a 3x optical zoom and a beefy 2.5 inch LCD. No details on availability and price yet, so we'll keep you posted.

Sanyo has announced two new digital media cameras, the Xacti C6 and the Xacti C40. The C6 is the "world's thinnest, smallest, and lightest digital video camera." The C40 is an affordable camera that can capture 4 megapixel images and TV-quality video. Both cameras will be available in January of 2006. The C6 will have an MSRP of $699 and the C40 will run at $399.
