Sony has announced two new digital cameras to update their ultra-zoom H series. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H7 and Cyber-shot DSC-H9 will ship in April 2007 for $400 and $480 respectively. The new cameras improve upon their successors (the H2 and H5) with new Sony technology (like the Bionz processor) and increasing their zoom capabilities to 15x optical zooms.
Today, Sony has announced four new entry level digital cameras, the Cyber-shot DSC-W55, DSC-W35, DSC-S700, and DSC-S650. The entire quartet can capture 7.2 megapixel images and will range from $150 to $200 when they hit the market in February and March. Read on for additional specs on the new Cyber-shots.

In a prelude to the PMA show at the end of February, Sony has announced two new cameras for their "W" line of cameras. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W30 and Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50 will be available in February and March, respectively. The W30 will retail for $230 and the W50 will retail for $250.
