Watch out Kodak and Panasonic, now JVC has the touch. The Everio maker today unveiled two new pocket HD camcorders, the Picsio GC-WP10 and Picsio GC-FM2, both featuring a 3.0-inch touchscreen display. In addition, the WP10 is waterproof in up to 10 feet of water.
We really liked Kodak's pocket HD camcorders at DigitalCameraReview, particularly the Zi8 and PlaySport. Both shot great video and the Zi8 is one of the only pocket HD camcorders with an external mic jack. We're pleased to see Kodak continue with the line, this time adding a little touch with the Kodak PlayTouch video camera.
Sanyo added a new pocket HD camcorder to its Dual Camera lineup this week, promising what Sanyo VP Tom Van Voy calls, "amazing 10MP photos and 1080 archive quality video with 3x optical zoom."
