Kodak is adding two new digital cameras to their high zoom Z line and two new digital cameras to their entry-level C series in time for the PMA trade show in Las Vegas this week. The Kodak Easyshare Z712 IS will be available in April for $299. The Kodak Easyshare Z885 will be available in May for $199. Both the Easyshare C613 and Easyshare C763 will be available in April for $119 and $179, respectively. Read on for a few more details on these cameras.
Kodak has entered the consumer inkjet market with three new inkjets and a pricing structure for inks that will break the pricing mold currently used by consumer inkjet printers. The current model is to use low-priced printers with relatively high-priced ink cartridges. Kodak printers will use premium, pigment-based ink at much lower prices, with a black cartridge costing $10 and a color cartridge for $15.
Kodak is providing plenty of reasons for people to visit their booth at this year's CES. They've announced two new digital cameras - Easyshare V803 and Easyshare V1003 - and an entire line of digital photo frames. In addition to the "gadgets", they're also announcing additional services for storing, sharing and organizing your images - their kiosks will now write DVDs, they will have an image backup service via Kodak Gallery, and their software will be able to scan through your images to find similar faces.
Kodak added another digital camera to their C series without much fanfare. The Kodak Easyshare C653 features 6.1 megapixel resolution, a 3x optical zoom lens, and a 2.4 inch LCD. It's currently available for $129.95.
We'll be publishing a full review of the 7.1 megapixel, dual lens Kodak Easyshare V705 very soon. Read on for our first impressions of the "world's smallest ultra-wide angle digital camera".
Photokina 2006: Kodak has announced the Easyshare Z710 ultra zoom digital camera, along with several other imaging solutions.
Today, Kodak has announced four new digital cameras and a new portable printer. The Kodak Easyshare V705 is another dual lens camera that takes wide angle shots (upgrading the V570). The Kodak Easyshare C875, C743, and C443 will be added to Kodak's simple to use, entry level C series. The new Kodak Easyshare G600 Printer Dock will provide some portability to Kodak's Easyshare printing solutions.
The Kodak Easyshare P712 is a new addition to Kodak's "Performance" line of digital cameras. Announced last month, the P712 features a 7.1 megapixel capture resolution, a stabilized 12x optical zoom, a 2.5 inch LCD, and plenty of features to appeal to someone ready to expand their digital photography horizons. I've had the camera for a few days now and wanted to give my first impressions (and let you know that a full review is coming soon).
Kodak has announced a new camera in their "performance" P line. The Kodak Easyshare P712 features a 7.1 megapixel sensor, an optical image stabilized 12x optical zoom, and a 2.5 inch LCD. Aimed squarely at people looking for a more advanced second or third camera, but not looking for a digital SLR, the P712 will be available in July for an MSRP of $499.
Grabbing the title of "World's Smallest 10x Optical Zoom", the Kodak Easyshare V610 uses the dual lens system, previously seen on the Kodak Easyshare V570, to get a 38-380mm (35mm equivalent) focal length. The camera, that looks almost exactly like the V570, packs the long zoom range into a body that is only 0.9 inches thick. The V610 will be available in "coming weeks" at an MSRP of $449.
