[click to view image]Adobe unveiled Photoshop Touch 1.4, an update available for the already popular Photoshop Touch App. This update is available from the iTunes App Store, Google Play and Amazon Appstore and has several new features.
Although the app already contains the ability to edit images on the go, this update promises to take editing with a stylus to the next level. Pressure sensitive touch support was added for three of the most popular pressure-sensitive styli: Pogo Connect, Jot Touch and JaJa Stylus. Avid photo editors can now retouch with greater ease and better pressure sensitivity allowing for more a more natural look and feel to their images.
Adobe's update to Photoshop Touch has optimized this app to work on devices such as the iPad mini, Google Nexus 7 and the 7-inch and 8.9-inch versions of the Kindle Fire. It has also been designed to work seamlessly on any device that uses Andriod 3.1 or later and has at least a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024x600.
New features are available with this version of Photoshop Touch such as smoother brush strokes, improved grid layout, and quick access to last five colors used by way of a new shortcut option. Lens Flare and Stamp Pattern Effects have been added to the already expansive effects and filters line-up. Support for sharing to social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter is also now available.
