Cyber Monday Digital Camera Deals

Welcome to Cyber Monday, the online version of Friday’s shopping holiday. Cross items off your holiday shopping list without leaving the comfort of your desk. We’ll update throughout the day as we spot deals around the web.

UPDATE: Groupon
Notorious internet discounter Groupon features the Sony Bloggie Touch for $94, reduced from a full retail price of $179.99. Once purchased, the coupon must be redeemed by December 28th or you’ll get an automatic refund (and no Bloggie).

We’re starting with Amazon’s aggressive “lightning deals.” These are limited quantities of drastically discounted cameras. First up – the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX5V selling now for $199. That price will remain for the next four hours or until all units are claimed.

At just after 2pm ET check Amazon for a discount on the Pentax K-5 body-only. It’s currently priced at $1199, but the price will drop even more this afternoon once the lightining deal strikes. Also selling at a discount this afternoon are certain Lowepro and Manfrotto camera bags as well as Joby Gorillapods.

You’ll find a class 4 Kingston 16GB SDHC memory card at Newegg for $14.99 today. The offer also includes free two-day shipping. Deals on cameras are thin there, but you can find the Fujifilm S3200 24x ultrazoom for $199.99 (price available in cart) and the Canon PowerShot A1200 for $89.99.

Best Buy
Cyber Monday started yesterday at Best Buy. Today you can still find the Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS in various colors for $129.99. Another compact point-and-shoot, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W570 is on sale for $99.99. And with a 7x optical zoom, the Nikon Coolpix S6100 is offered for $118.99 bundled with a 4GB SD card and camera case. Find many more of Best Buy’s deals here.
