When Pentax introduced the Optio A20 in August 2006, they called it the “flagship of the Optio digital camera line”. Don’t look now, mates, but the admiral has just transferred his flag. Pentax still shows the A20 on their website, but the Pentax Optio A30 is clearly an improved A20. Are the improvements enough to warrant A20 shooters jumping ship to the A30? After spending some time with the A30 I can say it produces some seriously see-worthy images.
