  Difficult to focus in low light

PROS: Under most conditions (outdoors & good light) this camera takes nice photos. Easy access to the menu and ability to change settings quickly. Battery holds up for quite a while.

CONS: E-420 & E-520 Cameras will not auto focus in medium to low lighting conditions. I've tried various settings with not much better results. Manual focus is tricky with this type of camera. I blew a bunch of memorable shots due to the poor focus. The 520 camera also exhibits the same issues. I wish the DSLR's behaved like the old SLR's. This camera is NOT GOOD for someone looking to take impromptu family photos indoors. Built in flash is so-so, but this is probably true with all DSLR's. I may get an external flash if I don't unload this camera. It's too bad about this focus issue, as the camera is fine in most other areas.

CONS: Low Ligth Shots(depending on the Lens), small size for big hands
