PROS: Does a good job of taking photos in most situations. Has a view finder. Excellent color.

CONS: Lots of pixels, resolution suffers when stopping down. (Chip is sharper than lens-a common problem now). Movie mode still low resolution.

A terrible disappointment

PROS: Excellent performance and quality. Easy to use. BUT...

CONS: Mine lasted 22 days before the dreaded "lens error" occurred. Had to be sent back to the repair shop. Thousands of users have reported this problem, but CANON refuses to accept the blame for it, so it is not covered under warranty.
