  Great first digital camera

PROS: Is easy to use, has many automatic features which set photo settings I would otherwise not be knowledgeable about. Takes decent videos, transfers easily to the computer. I am not a photographer, however, for a first time digital camera user, this has exceeded my expectations.

CONS: The camera sometimes balks and requires a shutdown when turning it to photo taking mode. I think it is when the camera is exposed to too much heat, but am not quite sure.

PROS: So easy to use and the camera seems to do things for you.
