TOTAL USER RATINGS: 10
PROS: looks nice
CONS: piece of junk
PROS: Ease of use is a BIG plus. Buttons are clearly marked to lessen any confusion. Excellent for still shots...indoors or out. Super quality pics!
CONS: The anti-shake dosen't really help all that much. Buttons are a bit small for those with big fingers...like me.
PROS: good picture quality. good features
CONS: stopped working after 4 months and all it keeps saying is battery error. Used new alkalines, used new nihm, fully charged batteries and still get the same thing. It powers on, takes one picture then i get battery error and no more photos. Anyone have a solution for this other than use it as a paperweight?
OVERALL SCORE:7/10
PROS: User friendly and pretty simple to operate. It is compact and can be placed in small hand bag/case. The viewing screen is larger than the average smaller cameras. The 2 color selections are vibrant.
CONS: The compartment door where the batteries and sd card are loaded does not open/close easily. Should have added more color choices.
PROS: Camera design and ease of use is fantastic, including camera images.
CONS: Bad thing is, the software and driver. It made the camera look bad cos the owner will have a hard time to retrieve images taken by the camera which make it totally useless. Tech support are manual based useless as well. they have no clue other than from the manual available online or came with camera. I got to personally tweak the win5K registry in order to access to the camera images, same as in LinuxOS. If you're computer alliterated, out of luck. Even if you're, it's a waste of time and counter productive. Nikon should work on this area. I've returned it for a Canon.
OVERALL SCORE:7/10
PROS: easy to use; takes good pictures
CONS: power down is a little aggravating after only 3 seconds
PROS: For low end camera, I like the fact that it's pretty easy to use. Past experience with another Coolpix (over 4 years usage...and would still have except I dropped it) brings me back to this brand.
CONS: Might not have all the bells and whistles that some would like.
PROS: Relatively inexpensive, good quality pictures, easy to use.
CONS: The thin metal shutter that protects the lens when it is retracted is easily damaged. The colapsing lens design is neat but it jammed on mine within the first few days of use. Addmittedly, my wife is a bit hard on technology. ;-)
OVERALL SCORE:7/10
PROS: This camera has an auto-zoom for close-ups of flowers, etc. It is awesome! It took me awhile to figure out how to get it to come in clear, but once I discovered it, I'm shocked! Pics of flowers are better than in magazines. Crisp, clear, pure. Professional looking.
CONS: Distance shots are hard to focus. Darker settings stay pretty dark, even with the lightening feature. When using the zoom the object of the picture remains blury.
OVERALL SCORE:9/10
PROS: Excellent picture quality, huge 3" LCD, 3x optical zoom, autofocus with face detection, up to 1600 ISO for excellent low-light performance, low price.
CONS: SD slot is difficult to get to.
OVERALL SCORE:8/10
