Big camera performance in a little camera body

PROS: Great shots, although high ISO can get noisy. Great continuous mode. Red eye reduction, face detection, image stabilization, different modes. It actually has a viewfinder (great for night time shooting). Fits in my pocket perfectly, really no bigger than the average brick-style cell phone.

CONS: LCD scratches easily. Get a a screen protector. Noisy images at ISO 800 and 1600.

Broken After 2 Months

PROS: Decent image quality for the price.

CONS: After spending 1/2 day in my bag during a hiking trip, the lens were stuck open. I didn't drop the bag. The lens were stuck half way open. I googled the problem, apparently there are many complaints on the issue, and Canon will charge for the repair. I'm very disappointed at the build quality of the camera.
