PROS: Is clear all the time!!Thin and cute and light!!!LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!DO NOT GET KODAK...their 12 mp easyshare z1285 is terribl compared to this 8 mp dream!!!Kudos Olympus!!I will only buy from you!

CONS: No b&w or sepia, XD cards are a little pricier...but still can be troublshot.

PROS: This is by far the best point and shoot I have used. 5x optical zoom means you can be twice the tourist (and then some) without having to walk-all-the-way-over-there. It also affords great detail of botanicals and other intricate subject matter. The anti-shake means that in a moving car, in gale force winds, etc. your pictures come out clear and steady. The smile-finder mode is good fun with a group of non-believing people at a pub. The behind glass mode is handy for taking pictures of displays, through windows, and any time there is a glare reflection. The setting I have enjoyed most so far is the candle light option, which has proved effective at capturing interior shots where there is dim ambient lighting and also external shots of close up groups of people where it is dark out side but there is dim ambient light from street lights, etc. Great versatility in a small package.

CONS: When I bought the camera I was told it took the SD card, which is why I bought it as I have a bunch for my "real" Olympus. It takes the XD card, which ended up being worth the extra because the camera has been so much fun to shoot with.

Best 5x zoom for price

PROS: Looking for something better than 3x zoom, but at an affordable price. I've only had it for 3 days as of this writing, but it does all I expected it to. I've had Nikon and Canon digital pocket cameras go belly up quickly, but my Sony is still kicking, and hopefully this Olympus will prove to be durable. The SanDisk card is non-standard, so most card readers won't read it, but if you don't lose the cables you'll be OK. All-in-all, best features for the price, of any compact digital.

CONS: Haven't found any yet.

PROS: Excellent Pictures (Sharp & Very clear) Excellent Zoom 5X Easy to use Picture repair program A excellent extra camera, when you don't feel like lugging the SLR

PROS: This camera is small, easy to use and takes realy detailed, quality pictures. Most cameras this small doesnt have more than 3 x optical zoom and this one has 5x optical zoom and a 2.7 in LCD display. It takes realy clear pictures even when the zoom is used. Excellent camera!!!

CONS: None so far.
