PROS: The digital screen and the price ($90).
CONS: This camera has serious battery issues. Even after buying rechargeable batteries you can take just about 10 to 15 pictures. I wont be surprised if someone ends up spending more on the batteries than the original price of the camera!!
OVERALL SCORE:5/10
PROS: Price
CONS: not a very good camera. Shutter gets stuck. Not very easy to use. I am not buying Samsung any more.
OVERALL SCORE:4/10
PROS: The 2.5 LCD screen is great and the compact size is great.
CONS: The need for batteries is phenomenol. I used three sets of batteries in one day. After about 15 pictures, it says "low battery". It does not take very good pictures and the display screen is blury, but the after picture is better.
OVERALL SCORE:1/10
PROS: Great pictures for such a cheap camera.
CONS: You get what you pay for. After setting up the camera, playing with it, and just taking 3 photos, it shut itself down saying "Low Battery Life." I replaced the provided Duracell Ultras with Energizer Lithium batteries and ran into the same problem after 10-11 photos. This battery has a battery problem. I returned to Circuit City to ask them about the battery issue and they said they had 2 other customers come in during the weekend and complain about the same thing. I am changing my and upgrading to a better camera.
OVERALL SCORE:7/10
PROS: This is a good camera for a first time user who wants all those little functions. It takes good pictures and movies too.
CONS: There is not a whole lot of on camera memory so it's best to buy a card for it. Anywhere from 256mb and up to 2G. Also buy the Lithium Ion batteries for it. Or get a good set of rechargeable batteries.
OVERALL SCORE:8/10
PROS: This camera was great at first. It took pretty good pictures and I was pretty happy with it. I wasn't expecting anything great because it was soo cheap.
CONS: After about a half an hour of just playing around with it the batterys died. It has horrible power life. One day I dropped it and the lenze was still out. I don't know how to get it working again and all it does is make the turn on sound, flash a green light and then goes blank. I would recomend spending a little more money on a camera that will actually work for a long time.
OVERALL SCORE:4/10
CONS: When my S73 was working properly, I was pleased with its photo and video quality. It was nothing spectacular; but you're going to run into a whole bunch of disappointment, if you're expecting spectacular results from a $90 camera. Unfortunately, my S73 would shut itself down, sometimes leaving the lens extended and exposed. Sometimes it would shut itself down due to "battery low." Those times, it would actually display "battery low" and beep a few times and then shut itself off. The other times, there was no warning at all. I know very well that the batteries could not possibly have been drained, because it happened after mere minutes of operation. I did change the batteries, anyway, to no avail. Other than those flaws, this camera was awesome, factoring the price. I decided to return it to the store rather than taking it up with the manufacturer; because Samsung would have offered to repair or replace it (ideally), neither of which I wanted. I wanted an entirely different camera from an entirely different manufacturer, after an experience like that.
OVERALL SCORE:6/10
PROS: average features and image quality
CONS: battery were easily drained off, you need to use different batteries everytime you take a couple of pictures. this camera has terrible power capacity and horrible battery connection
OVERALL SCORE:3/10
PROS: has great image quality and splendid menu setting.
CONS: power is its main problem. most of my friends suffer from power problem with it. it will drain batteries off easily. though you're using different battery type, it will definitely eat those batteries up easily.
