PROS: - Has two types of Macro features (normal and close focus). Close focus takes VERY DETAILED close ups, I tested this taking the skin on my arm. I couldn't believe how dried my skin was. - Great daytime photos - Very fast shutter during the day or during the night with good lighting. - Excellent multi shots. - Easy to use touch-screen features - Excellent touch up. You can rectify photos with the remove red-eye function - Impressive slide playback with 4 built in music and 4 types of slide modes - Smile shutter function is really cool, very impressive. When I bought this camera, I tested 10 other similar cameras (Nikon, Casio, Samsung, Panasonic, Canon etc...) the Sony T200 was the best out of all of them.
CONS: - Like all other digital cameras, they have problems with the red-eye, caused by using the flash. I take many night time party shots and my result is I get red-eye 3 out of 10 times, which is acceptable because I can always correct it using the touch up function. - They say that for night time shots, you'll see a lot of noise, but again, to me, the noise is a lot better than many of the other digital cameras. - The only thing that annoyed me is that the Sony T200 only comes in 3 colours, Black, Silver and Red. I wish there were more colours to choose from.

PROS: A beautiful camera with many features
CONS: It took very bad pictures for me. Extremely slow despite the rveiews that say the camera is one of the fastest. My 4 megpixel camera took better photos. I wished so much that I would love this camera because I certainly loved the look and features. I returned the camera after 2 weeks of trying to love the picture quality and speed. Couldn't get there.

CONS: I'm not a professional photographer, but I have been using digital camera's and printing my own photos for the last 10 years. I decided to upgrade from my Pentax 5MP because the flash was weak and the Sony T200 8MP just had too many good sounding features to ignore. From the very first indoor shot I took (in auto mode), I knew there was something wrong. The image colors were distorted by the indoor lighting with an orange cast, and the flash over exposes the center picture subject (blew out the highs). I even had a group photo taken in a room at mid day with large windows, in the auto mode, that should have had no problems, but the image turned out very washed out and grainy, like the camera had to choose a very high ISO - I couldn't believe it. I spent a week playing with the Program functions (not in Auto mode)to get a combination of settings to take a decent indoor picture, with no luck, although the pictures were better. Even after post-processing in Photoshop they were not near as good as my 4 year old camera takes without editing. How can a company like Sony produce a compact point & shoot that doesn't work in point & shoot situations, that's the purpose of an Auto mode! I returned the Sony today and bought a Canon SD870 for about the same price and immediately took several great indoor shots (in the same situation) with no special adjustments. The Canon is great. Note that the Sony did take very good outdoor pics, but most camera's do. I liked the special features of the Sony, although the menu system was terrible. Regardless, if it can't take decent pictures, who cares?

PROS: Ok, so I'm not too big of a camera buff, but I definitely like my quality. What I have noticed is that if you actually know how to use the camera, the difference in quality can be a big deal. I saw that my macros turned out really nice and my other attempts at fancy pictures seemed to be pretty solid as well. Touch screen is awesome. I have an LG Voyager and now this... sweet. LOve the touch. Also, I have the HD tv running and it looks sick with the HD features. Very easy to use.
CONS: Grainy pictures if you don't know what you're doing (if you do, they are superb). Needs a sep. on off switch. I like the slider, but a different spot for the on/off would be better.

PROS: Small and Compact, lots of features
CONS: bottomline its all about image quality and this camera is poor at best. Recommend you go with the Canon elp
OVERALL SCORE:5/10
PROS: Man is this one cool camera and feature packed as well! I considered it for some time and played with one for days. Lots of zoom at 5x, TINY, cool, amazing screen, and all the things Sony always does so well. The design is top notch! BUT...
CONS: Once again, when so many features get packed into such a small camera, something has to give and as usual, to my dismay, it's IMAGE QUALITY!!! That's kind of like building the coolest sports car with transformer like features that, alas, handles poorly. WHY??????????? In this case the T200 is a dragster that can't turn corners very well. Low light shooting leaves much to be desired and even well lit indoor shots tend towards the blurry and fuzzy side of things. Don't even hand this camera to a thick fingered stranger for a quick shot of your family if it isn't sunny outside. My recommendation is to look at the Canon Elph/Ixus series cameras for small, reliable, AND image quality all in one package. I also like the Panasonic FX33 but even it doesn't beat the Canon straight out of the camera. I don't care how many features a camera has, if it can't take semi-reliable photos then it isn't worth a penny. I really want to love this camera but image quality is everything in a CAMERA for me. After all, we take pictures with cameras.

PROS: I love this camera! The picture quality is wonderful! The huge touchscreen is great! This camera is well worth the money. The zoom capabilities for such a small camera are out of this world! :)
CONS: I'm still trying to figure out how to organize the folders so the slideshow will only play certain pics.
