PROS: Excellent resolution ond powerful zoom
OVERALL SCORE:9/10
PROS: Great camera for all around for features and ease of use
CONS: NONE with other people commenting on the lens cap. Well I am glad it pops of easy. I know people forget to remove it and instead of ruining the zoom the cap was designed to pop off easy.
OVERALL SCORE:9/10
PROS: Great product... the pictures quality range from okay (night & indoors) to superb (outdoor scenery). The reversible lcd screen is great and the viewfinder is good quality. The camera is a good compromise between weight and functionality - important when travelling around the world. It survived conditions from snow through to tropical rain and searing heat!
CONS: The cap for the lens is a real let down for the camera.
OVERALL SCORE:8/10
PROS: External flash option. Solid build. Easy controls, once learned. Versatile, from auto to full manual. Whisper quite zoom/focusing. Faster Digic III sensor. 8 megapixels.
CONS: 32Mb SD Card
OVERALL SCORE:10/10
PROS: Solid build. Much improved swiveling LCD screen. Easy controls, once learned. Versatile, from auto to full manual. Whisper quite zoom/focusing. External flash option. People again complain of no RAW option. People who use RAW are in the minority and won't be missed with the majority. Faster Digic III sensor. 8 megapixs.
CONS: Sensor not sensitive to low contrast objects. Keeps hunting for proper focus and sometimes end up with blurry selection.
OVERALL SCORE:9/10
PROS: Good resolution, great zoom, and feels pretty solid (other then the battery door). I've had it for about a week and have taken more pictures in that time then I had did in a year with my old camera.
CONS: The lens cap fall off too easily. Battery door, which houses the SD card as well, feels a little flimsy. I'm worried it's going to break on me one day. A camera this nice should have the option to shoot to raw files. The 32MB SD card it comes with is a joke. I don't know why they even include it.
OVERALL SCORE:8/10
PROS: Super easy to use and get used to all the settings- crystal clear pictures (I had purchased and returned a panasonix Lumix and a Sony h-9,both due to lack of crisp, clear pictures when using zoom), just LOVE it all the way around !!! Super product for the dollar - as close to an SLR as you can get !
OVERALL SCORE:1/10
PROS: Very versatile-great set of all around features, long telephoto-etc. Movies suprisingly good.
CONS: BAD purple fringing in some conditions, noisy images in even moderate light. Cheap construction-feels flimsy-especially combined battery/card door-looks like it won't last long. Disapointingly poor quality replacement for my Olympus c-5050,or even my brothers S3 IS
OVERALL SCORE:6/10
