CONS: Image stabilisation performance not good. Auto mode tends to shoot in high ISO settings resulting in noise in images beyound 400ISO. Indoor/low light performance very bad. High ISO,double image stabilisation and 8.1 MP etc. marketing gimmiks and nthing more. If one is looking for good photo graphy performance this is not the camera to own. Compact size, brand SONY arethe only advantages.
OVERALL SCORE:4/10
PROS: The camera is an absolute marvel. It' stylish, sleek and sexy. The sliding lens cover is cool. The lens doesn't protrude out, which I find very appealing. 3 inch LCD is large, bright and sharp. The menu system is a pleasure to browse through. Pop-up explanations for each function are really helpful. Images are excellent outdoors as well as indoors under low light conditions. The camera is packed with tons of features - face detection, image stabilization technology, ISO 3200, 5x zoom, in-camera editing features, full HD output to view images on an HDTV, fantastic video capabilities and the ability to upload MP3 files to the camera to go with image slide shows. The zoom is available in video mode too and it's just brilliant to shoot clear, sharp images of distant objects. In fact, the DSC-T100 is a pretty handy camcorder. Battery life is another plus - it lasts forever.
CONS: The price. You have to pay that much more because it's a Sony. It's a bit tricky to hold the camera firmly and shoot because of its small size. The buttons on the right side are a bit cramped up. There is no delete button available..you got to fetch that from the menu every time..which is a bit annyoing. The menu itself is not very intuitive to use, mainly becuase related functions are under different sections. The camera can't add date to an image. You got to do that on the computer via the supplied software. Battery charging takes 5 hours or more and the battery has to be taken out for charging. A faster charger is available, but will have to be bought separately. No HDMI cable is supplied, despite the huge price tag. That has to be bought separately as well. A DSC-T100 cradle/dock is available with the faster in-camera battery charging , HDMI output cable etc. But it's expensive and adds to the already hefty price tag.
OVERALL SCORE:9/10

CONS: -charging takes long (speed charger available)
OVERALL SCORE:9/10
PROS: Giant, high resolution lcd screen. 5x zoom. face detection. great pictures, low noise.
CONS: Some people like an optical viewfinder. I don't really see the lack of one as a problem, you can still see the srceen well in high light situations.
PROS: 5x zoom, Size, 8mp, high ISO, Super SteadyShot, cradle options, improved processing engine, and face detection.
CONS: Cradle not available yet
