PROS: Well made, long battery life, excellent picture quality under most conditions and a real bargain for the money.
CONS: would like a wide angle lense but otherwise no complaints.
OVERALL SCORE:9/10
PROS: Very small - can actually loose it in your pockets! Really fast operation, great menu system. Great specs for the money. Good battery life. Lots of in-camera options (color alterations etc) Superb movie modes for a pocket digital.
CONS: Not many manual controls (but hey don't look at point and shoot cameras if you want lots of manual controls). Boxy design and color scheme not that appealing...
OVERALL SCORE:9/10
PROS: I own 6 Digitals, from 2 megas to 12 megas. This little honey bar far is the best camera in the lot. It's the easiest, brightest, fastest, most battery life, ETC and so on. I paid $169.00, In my opionion its the best camera I own. Just afraid im gonna lose it its so small.
OVERALL SCORE:10/10
PROS: I love this camera. It is compact (easily slide into my shirt pocket)- has plenty of cool usable funtions such as zoom, color effect, red-eye fix IN camera, iso up to 800 (I dont use anything over 400 though, and just fun to shoot with. It is out of the pocket and taking the picture in seconds. Catches moving cars to running waterfalls very nice (ie. moving objects). I recommend this camera to all amature photographers (every day ordinary picture takers..lol) like me. Great for on the go pics like at the beach, art gallery (can turn flash off..a big plus for me), nature hikes, and the built in face detect makes taking pics of those smiling faces all more simple.
CONS: as with most affordable digital cameras..this one isnt all that great in low light. Other than that..its my fav camera so far.
OVERALL SCORE:10/10
PROS: Some great shots! Cute design, very compact. Love some of the color features, very excited to play with everything. Can edit red-eyes in the camera, great feature.
CONS: Lots of red-eyes, not great in low-light, battery life not exciting, many blury images. I think I need more practice! Toggling from play and photo is sort of a pain.
OVERALL SCORE:8/10
PROS: it is good but not excellent
CONS: weak battery life, no Image stabilization
OVERALL SCORE:9/10
PROS: Fast. I went from a mid-sized point and shoot to the SD1000. No more missed shots. It turns on fast and is ready to shoot in ~ 1 second. Shot-to-shot times are fast. It must buffer a lot of photos, because I'm using a regular slow SD card. Has an optical viewfinder, hooray.
CONS: I wanted more manual controls (aperture priority) but did not find any sub-compact camera that can do it.
OVERALL SCORE:8/10
PROS: Intuitive UI, great image quality, small charger, small/lightweight, time-lapse movie
CONS: difficult zoom controls, slightly flimsy playback/capture-mode switch
PROS: Awesome pictures, tiny size, full feature set
CONS: No manual controls
PROS: Tiny enough to carry in purse; large LCD screen; got a free photo printer with it!
CONS: Haven't found any yet
