PROS: it is good digital camera.
CONS: Heavier; over time the shutter release becomes inoperable
OVERALL SCORE:6/10
PROS: Literally love at first sight with this camera. Just the first time I glanced eyes upon it reading camera reviews on the web, it stood out. It is truly in a class of it's own, combining a robust feature set, rock-solid build quality, and just an overall FUN camera to use. So many pro's to list, but the main ones I just mentioned, plus obviously the 28mm wide angle is great, zoom works well, and the OIS at high-zoom REALLY shows off how effective it is.
CONS: Loses a few points for overall image quality. Hate to say it, but there is noticeable noise at high ISO, and you really have to pay attention to which scene mode / settings you are using as over/under exposure was an issue for me. One other thing to note- since the predecessor is being released in a few weeks, you might want to hold out for that as there are a few improvements (not just the mega pixels... that's mainly for marketing). I couldn't wait as I am going on a trip... And if you do your homework and look for a really good deal, you might even be able to top my $215 for camera + $15 for Transcend 4GB SDHC (Class 6-10MBps , highly recommended for this cam) that I paid at Tigerdirect! (Have a friend working there :) )

PROS: 10x optical zoom in a compact style and it is very easy to use
CONS: when u zoom in and out frequently, indeed you are killing the battery. You can not use zooming when capturing movie clip.
OVERALL SCORE:8/10
PROS: Love the zoom Video quality is real good 16x9 photo/video mode a real plus!
CONS: Can't zoom while recording No USB 2.0
OVERALL SCORE:8/10
PROS: Large LCD screen makes for easy viewing. I really like it's small case with a nice 10x zoom. Video seems to work nicely as well.
CONS: I'm not to keen on the lens cover.
OVERALL SCORE:9/10
PROS: Boy is this camera feature packed! I don't believe any other camera it's size has a better feature set. BUT....
CONS: The image quality stinks unless you are outside in good light. Any low light situation (even indoors in a well lit room) results in frustration due to blurry and fuzzy shots. Too bad really. Want a more reliable and flexible P and S camera? Look to any Canon product. Sorry, but that's my experience here after over 10 years of shooting with compact cameras. For some reason, the more features these small cameras cram in, it seems the worse the image quality and low light shooting gets. Sony, Panasonic...but not Canon.
OVERALL SCORE:7/10
PROS: The big optical zoom is awesome. The price is reasonable. The features are great and pretty easy to use. It fits in my purse and so I always have my camera to take pictures of those priceless moments of the kids. I love the photo editing software that comes with the camera. It has easy to use features that can make you feel like an artist straight out of the box!
CONS: I have had the camera for seven months now and the only thing that I would say could be improved is the battery life.
OVERALL SCORE:8/10
PROS: easy on and off -- GREAT zoom
CONS: hmmmmm, maybe it's the fact that there are SO many great features you have to "study" the book to learn how to use it to it's full capacity
OVERALL SCORE:8/10
PROS: The versatility of this camera is beyond belief. I was really skeptical about the 10x zoom figuring that I'd never get clear shots, but it does an admirable job. The anti-shake feature seems to work well, and some of the other features that I've toyed with (like the "soft skin" setting) really do work as advertised. This replaced an old HP model, and I was really annoyed by the shutter lag I would find even in some of the new cameras. The TZ3 has none of that, and the image quality has been great. I love the larger than average LCD screen on this. It really helps me get a handle on whether the subject is in focus. I waited 6 months to write my review, so this is not just my opinion after the first week.
CONS: The weight is a little more than you'd expect for the size, if you're concerned about that sort of thing. I also agree with some of the reviews that the base of my thumb will occasionally hit the top button of the four control buttons on the back, but now that I'm used to the camera, it happens less often.
