TOTAL USER RATINGS: 8
PROS: If you need a camera with most of the capabilities offered with a DSLR plus Live View plus movie capability then this camera is brilliant, can take a lot of learning to get the most out of it and has a lot of controls to master.
CONS: Too much noise on the sensor, even at low ISOs there is still noticeable noise at pixel level, not going to trouble most users though.
OVERALL SCORE:8/10
PROS: -Image Quality -Better than average high ISO performance -Feature Rich -Easy to Use -Manual Zoom -Manual Focus if desired -Good Macro and Super Macro Mode -Can shoot in RAW -LCD and EVF both sport 235,000 pixels! -Good Controls
CONS: -No Optical Image Stabilization (Solved by better high ISO performance) -A little heavy -Battery door a bit flimsy
OVERALL SCORE:9/10
PROS: AA batts! (Use rechargable nimh. I get 400+ shots w/ LCD panel off) Fast start-up; bright view finder/LCD panel; dual flash media; focuses in almost total darkness; hotshoe plus sync cord plug.
CONS: Could focus faster but it's not too bad; could be easier to change resolution; should auto-detect dual flash cards and ask on screen which one to use, then switch automatically to other when full.
PROS: two different cards can be used; the adjustable LCD is very handy; built in flash
CONS: noisy above 400; The RAW mode is buried in menus
PROS: Uses both compact flash and Xd type memory cards, super zoom, large footprint, aa batteries, 9 megapixel, great photo's, fantastic price.
CONS: a little slow storing RAW photos
PROS: Lots of modes, very easy to use once you learn the camera. Images are very sharp and colors are natural. Great having a wide angle equivalent of 28mm. Having an external hot shoe for extended flash range.
CONS: Not a point and shoot, auto mode is not going to give you the images you want. Big time learning curve on this camera. It can use some true image stabalization .
OVERALL SCORE:8/10
PROS: AA-type batteries, RAW image format, manual focus, good control layout
CONS: No image stabilization, electronic viewfinder, not very good night shots
PROS: Light weight, bright viewfinder, feature packed, good zoom range, good battery life and easy to use.
CONS: very slow focusing in both auto and manual mode. External flash not available in continuous mode. Slow to render shots even when using high speed CF Card.
