PROS: Good zoom when its working and thats about all
CONS: I bought this camera and expected a reliable point n shoot camera. What I got was a waste of money and a camera that is totally useless indoors, has a very slow reset time and just stopped working on the last month of its warranty. It has been returned to canon (not without a fight) and came back working but absolutely useless indoors or at night as all photos are blurred and have lines on them. It still works in normal light, but I am now writing it off as a bad loss. Canon no more for me thanks.
OVERALL SCORE:3/10
PROS: Great shots, Ease of use, Stylish, Post shot editing (sharpness, color, etc.).
CONS: You have to buy a case separately.
OVERALL SCORE:9/10
PROS: the zoom is just great and easy to use, I have large hands and still found it easy to use all the settings. this is a great camera with a lot of good features
CONS: only draw back for me was the time it took to get ready between shots at night
PROS: Manual settings, size, optical zoom, features
CONS: EXTRA noisy pictures at all settings, up to 20 seconds delay between pictures with flash, you'll miss a lot of pictures
PROS: None really. Many of the features on this camera exists on competing brands. Yes, multiple shooting modes are great but available elsewhere.
CONS: I've owned other digital cameras, Sony & Olympus so I have something to compare this camera to. I tried several (many) different settings and combinations and could not get a good sharp photo indoors
PROS: 6x OPTICAL ZOOM - IMAGE STABILZER - LARGE 2.5'' SCREEN AND A NICE SIZE AND FEEL TO THE UNIT.
CONS: YES SOME TIMES YOU WILL GET A DELAY WHEN THE FLASH IS RECHARGEING.
PROS: Great photo quality, easy to use, full auto plus manual controls, reliable
CONS: No camera is perfect, but the Canon A's come close
PROS: Has a full range of operating modes, spectacular zoom (mechinical and digital combine to very long lens); fits in your packet; very intuitive menu system; useful S/W for pix management.
CONS: The long lag time for flash recharge & the truly rediculous mem card; Camera is new for Xmas, so maybe still haven't tried all the options -- might find another con, but so far works as advertised.
PROS: High Image Quality, Easy, great manual mode, full flash control, etc.
CONS: Very noisy at high ISOs (like most cheap-ish cameras), flash is not incredibly powerful
PROS: Size, quality of photos, use of AA batteries, can be used as point and shoot or for advanced options, viewfinder
CONS: Viewfinder, delay with flash
