TOTAL USER RATINGS: 10
PROS: I have had my a100 since it first came out and have had a few other types of cameras during this time and have given away or sold them only to return to my a100. Great quality build, images, options, addons and the first of its kind makes it a keeper for me. Even though there are higher rez on the market now i'm at the point that when properly setup and adjusted my a100 is more than enough to get the WOW effect from me and other people. Thanks Sony.
CONS: Had to purchase it for myself @ $1000 new with basic lens and fast CF card was difficult but rewarding. Con: Someone should have given it to me for my birthday or something but didnt.
OVERALL SCORE:10/10
PROS: Easy to learn instructions, User interface pretty intuitive, awesome photos right out of the box.
CONS: Depends on what you are used to in other cameras. I wouldn't say negatives just different.
PROS: Fantasticly fast, great for sports shots, beautiful color, very responsive auto focus, and very good fill flash feature.
CONS: Super steady shot really does very little, with 800 and 1600 iso some granyness, multi-shot is only 3 fps.
PROS: Beautiful pictures, image stabilization, nice body design, very good kit lens, easy to function, good drive mode
CONS: Noise at ISO 800-1600
PROS: Full of features which found only on higher class camera, good details especially in RAW, good kit lens, image stabliser, light weight, Dymanic Range Optimer works well
CONS: ISO1600 is noisy, AF/MF button is not easy accessible like 7D, Propietary battery not compatible with 5D/7D.
PROS: 10.2 mp camera with easy to use controls, excellent picture quality and great assortment of lens available
CONS: ISO tops off at 1600, motion is a problem under auto conditions.
PROS: Photos are sharp with acurate color. Sony's steady shot works with all lenes. Dust reduction system. DRO+ works very well.
CONS: Noise at 800 is a little high. At 1600 much more than I would prefer. Also loss of saturation at 1600. Would have liked a battery grip option.
PROS: image stabilized (super steadyshot), 2.5" LCD, fast AF speeds, easily usable up to ISO800, great menu system and features
CONS: ISO1600 pictures are noisy (fixable with noise removal programs), no wireless remote control available, minolta G-glass and Zeiss lenses are very expensive
PROS: 10megapixel, 2.5in 230K LCD, Antishake, Bionz, DRO, wide range of lens + new carl zeiss,
CONS: Higher than average noise levels at ISO1600
PROS: Minolta friendly, lenses and flashes work. It uses built-in flash to illuminate low light situations.
CONS: Sony lense a little clunky, cheap. You HAVE to get the exact battery,NPFM50 does not work.
