  over all, a great mid-level digital camera

PROS: -raw file format -image stabilization -12x zoom -live view, swivel lcd -sensor size (not too small) -variety of picture taking modes (macro, scene, manual etc.), varieties (ap, sp, auto, etc.), iow, plenty of variations giving user creative control. -threaded lens to add filters i walk around the duck pond in front of my condo for exercise. this camera has been near perfect for my wildlife pics - not too heavy to carry around the pond, with a good zoom to get pics of the wildlife that will not come close and great pic quality.

CONS: -iso 80, 100, 200 & 400 only -too much noise at iso 400 -sd card up to 2gb max - no sdhc -shoots raw/jpg not raw alone which uses too much card room & necessitates deleting the jpgs at upload. -no firmware updates (yet?) - it would be nice if they could update at least the sd card size.

  Loaded with features; You can't get this much camera for the money anywhere else

PROS: Very long list of: modes, priorities, displays, options, shutter speeds, and features; 35 mm to 420 mm lens; fully auto or fully manual operations; image stabilization that really works; great auto-focus; EVF and LCD monitor choices; nice close focus capability; excellent operating instructions; and ease of use.

CONS: propriatary battery

  Great Prosumer Camera,Fast Focus, Great Lens

PROS: 1. This lens belongs on a much more expensive camera. 2. Autofocus times and shot to shot times around DSLR times. 3. Image stabilization under $600! 4. Manual Zoom! 5. Egronomics and ease of use

CONS: 1. Low capacity battery 2. Arcsoft software bundle 3-- 32mb card--what is that?

  Most Excellent Camera

PROS: Easy to use, but can get as complicated as you wish. Great battery life and high capacity with the inexpensive SD memory cards, even at 8 megapixels.

CONS: I didn't buy it sooner.

  The best ultrazoom camera!!!

PROS: Long zoom and very effective image stabilization. Manual focus ring! Very good lens.

CONS: Noise it is a little above norm.

PROS: Swivel LCD, relocated batt. compartment/EVF/tripod socket, manual zoom, jog wheels for shutter speed/aperature

CONS: Proprietary battery

  Photos go Rooky to Pro. Its Mostly the camera.

PROS: I can take good photos easy. I can take photos in bad light without the flash without a stand and I still get a Superb photo. No blur. Hi speed photos are perfect.

CONS: My wife cant figure how to work it. I see that as a pro.

  This camera is superb! I'd give it a 10, but nothing is ever perfect.

CONS: I really can't say anything negative about this camera. Except, that maybe the manual was poorly interpreted. But, the manual does get the point across.
