PROS: Hi Res (1024 x 768) video with only file storage limit (no time limit).
CONS: No RAW
PROS: This is an excellent little camera, it is sturdy and holds up to a lot of travel. I own a Canon Rebel and a variety of Nikons, etc. I like this camera for it's higer res and especially since the front closes and protects the lens. it can be thrown in a bag without fear. I have also the S70 (7.1 MP) which is a wide angle lens and perfect for getting those sweeping shots. Overall I love these cameras, and recommend that my students purchase them.
CONS: Wish the camera was a little more easy to navigate.
PROS: Compact, nice wide angle/tele. range, big screen, sharp photos
CONS: There seems to be a serious design flaw in the lens mechanism which renders the camera useless and shows an e18 error code.
PROS: Great natural-looking photos, 28mm at wide angle, large LCD, fast operation, loaded with features
CONS: ISO 400 could be cleaner, could be smaller (thinner).
PROS: Awesome array of presets for the amateur snapper, super clear shots once you have decided which setting you need.
CONS: Build quality somewhat suspect, maybe too many presets that can get confusing.
PROS: Fast response, amazing 8mp pictures, variety of controls including full manual, easy to use and the list goes on...
CONS: Size is a little thicker and longer than most compact digital cameras, but it it's loaded with so many features and power that it makes easy to overlook the size thing.
