PROS: Light, fully featured, 7 megapixels, excellent picture quality
CONS: None found yet, except that they'll come out with a better camera for less in a few months, I'm sure.
PROS: Where to begin? Only TWO AA batteries needed and allow you to not worry about buying new one$ from Nikon and you can get them from any store in case of emergency. Two batteries supposedly will last you 100 pictures plus. Small but well built. Wealth of features and new face focus is incredible. Very easy to use, a lot of thought went into creating this camera. Pictures are fantastic and you may not even use full mode. Movie mode will continue for as long as you have memory too! Solid build, attractive, camera will not turn on by accident, superb value. I was lucky to get one of the first of these.
CONS: So far my batteries have not lasted long (65 pictures) but my rechargeables may need replacing and knew this prior. But that is on only TWO AA batteries, not the usual 4 you might need. :) Be aware that autofocus is not instantaneous (nor is it on most cameras) but I haven't used a good digital camera that focused immediately. It may not be as quick as my last camera but the pictures are fantastic too.
